Women's Morning Out Bible Study
begins Tuesday, September 7th at 9:15 am

This year, we will be going through the Beth Moore Bible study "Living Beyond Yourself - Exploring the Fruit of the Spirit."  Through this study you'll come to appreciate the supernatural aspects of the fruit and that you cannot grow, learn, or produce the fruit on your own.  Beth Moore challenges you to develop the fruit by maintaining an intimate relationship with the Spirit of God.  Led by Gloria Johnson and Sunny Johnson.  Nursery care will be available.  Please sign up on the Women's Ministry Board outside the Library.

Christian Education Training
Wednesday, September 8th at 6:30 pm

For all those involved in teaching or leading Sunday school, Wednesday night, or Wee Kids and Nursery. 
Pastor Mark will be sharing with us, and the Child Protection Policy will be reviewed.  If you are unable to make it for the training, you will need to make arrangements with Siri to go over the Child Protection Policy if you haven't done so during the past year.

Men's Breakfast
Saturday, September 11th at 8:00 am

All men and boys are invited to the Sportsmen's Restaurant in Hibbing for a great time of fellowship during our monthly men's breakfast.

Fall Kick-Off and Ministry Fair
Sunday, September 12th

Join us following the second morning worship service, at noon in the Fellowship Center as we "kick-off" another great year of ministry at Chisholm Baptist.  Our theme this year is "Let Your Light Shine," with an emphasis of reaching those around us with the love of Christ.  There will be booths with displays for each of the ministries of our church, and sign up sheets for areas that you can be involved in, great food, and a jumping tent for children.  You won't want to miss it - bring a friend along!

Family Night Begins September 15 at 6:30 pm
Registration begins at 6:15 pm.

FW Friends makes learning about the Bible lots of fun for students ages 3 through 4th grade, with skits, singing, games and stories.
Club 56 new this year for all those students in 5th & 6th grade. We will be meeting upstairs in the old CYF room.
Junior High E.D.G.E. (grade 7 & 8) meet in the new building
Senior High CYF (grade 9 – 12) meet in the new building
Adult Bible Studies begin at 7:00 pm. Pastor Dan will be leading a study on the book of Mark in the library. . Pastor Chuck will be leading a Bible study for men. There will also be a “Bible Basics” class led by Pastor Mark. If you would like more information, call the church office at 254-3307.

Coat Give-Away and Free Chili Feed
Saturday, September 25th from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

We will be having a coat give-away and will be offering a free chili lunch to members of our community. If you have any gently used winter wear, especially children’s items, please bring them to the church. We will also be needing volunteers to sign up to help serve, donate food items etc., please sign-up on the bulletin board outside the nursery to see if you can help out in any way. Call Kerri Halberg at 969-1908 for more information.

Newcomer's Lunch
Sunday, September 26th at noon

Please join us in the Fellowship Center for a delicious lunch served by our deacons and deaconesses. If you have started attending Chisholm Baptist Church in recent months, and would like more information about our church, meet those in leadership and hear about our ministries, this is a great opportunity for you.
